Needle is designed to be fully anonymous. We do not require, collect, or store your name, email, phone number, or IP address. The app generates an anonymous, cryptographically secure Device ID (UUID) to save your preferences and swipe history locally and on our servers.
Any text ("needles") you submit is stored securely in our database and broadcast anonymously to other users. Do not share personally identifiable information in your notes.
You can permanently delete all of your data at any time by pressing the "Delete Account & Data" button located inside the Profile tab of the app. This action is instantaneous and irreversible.
